Meredyth Sparks earned a BFA from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and an MFA from Hunter College, New York.

Her work has been widely exhibited in international gallery and museum contexts. Solo exhibitions include The Arts Club of Chicago, Chicago, Illinois (2013); Locust Projects, Miami, Florida (2012); VeneKlasen/Werner, Berlin, Germany (2011); and Abrons Art Center, New York, New York (2015). Sparks’ work is included in the permanent collections of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, Whitney Museum of American Art, Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Wadsworth Atheneum and Musée d' Art Contemporain de Bordeaux, among others.
